The guy responsible for the cyber attack on KyberSwap, a decentralized exchange, has been seen transferring large quantities of digital assets across multiple blockchains.
According to blockchain monitoring firm PeckShield, on February 26, the hacker transferred 798.8 Ether, worth roughly $2.5 million, from Arbitrum to the Ethereum network.
The hacker also transferred nearly $1 million worth of stablecoins. Specifically, the attacker’s wallet transferred $826,500 worth of Dai stablecoin to another wallet.
The KyberSwap breach, a big incident in 2023, resulted in DEX losing over $49 million in digital assets. On November 23, KyberSwap announced the breach and urged consumers to remove their cash. The hacker left a note suggesting his openness to negotiate once he rested.
