Today, Circle Internet Financial, the company behind USDC, the top regulated US dollar-backed stablecoin, announced a major agreement with Overdare, Inc., a joint venture between gaming and metaverse heavyweights Krafton, Inc. and Naver Z Corporation.
By leveraging Circle’s Programmable Wallets, this partnership seeks to transform the mobile user-generated content (UGC) gaming market. With the use of these wallets, producers of video games will be able to set up safe Web3 wallets within their games and get paid in USDC through the platform.
Inspired by the Roblox game platform, Overdare leverages Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 5 to offer AI-powered development tools. This gives users the ability to create their own unique experiences by acting as game designers inside the metaverse.
In addition, Overdare presents “Overdare Studio,” a feature-rich PC-based creative suite that gives developers cutting-edge tools to personalize gaming experiences on the network.
Overdare uses a “Create-to-Earn” strategy in addition to in-game creation, enabling users to profit from their creativity. Through the creation of valuable digital assets, players can turn them into NFTs, which will enable trade on the virtual marketplace within the game. To help users feel unique, the platform also offers live chat capabilities and customisable avatars.
Overdare is merging the Settlus network, streamlining interactive content licensing, and empowering creators to validate asset ownership, grant licenses, and make money off of their works on the blockchain in order to support the creator-centric ecosystem.
