Tokenize Exchange, a Singapore-based cryptocurrencycurrency exchange, expects a major expansion in staff following its US$11.5 million capital round. The company’s ultimate goal is to hire 100 workers over the next 18 months, up from its existing 20 members.
Since its inception in 2017, Tokenize has served institutional and individual investors in several major Asian markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
Specifically, the expansion would focus on building operational and regulatory teams to guarantee that the Tokenize effort adheres to the stringent international standards governing bitcoin.
Trive, Tokenize’s in-house venture capital firm, led the drive to secure the Series A funding, which totaled US$23 million, alongside other innovative investors.
Concurrently, the exchange plans to establish its blockchain network and get digital payment licenses to operate in Singapore, Taiwan, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi.
