According to reports, the Sui blockchain won the Eurasia Award for Best Blockchain Solution at the 2024 AIBC Eurasia conference, which took place on February 25 in Dubai. The award celebrates Sui’s remarkable rise and impact in the blockchain industry over the last year.
Sui has seen its overall value in DeFi technologies increase to more than $600 million. The layer 1 blockchain is now ranked among the top ten DeFi ecosystems. Furthermore, investigation suggests that 64% of the almost $500 million that just left Ethereum via the cross-chain Wormhole technology went to Sui.
The Sui Foundation’s Managing Director, Greg Siourounis, stated that the prize encourages Sui developers to continue leveraging the network’s benefits. He hopes it persuades additional projects to join the growing Sui ecosystem.
The AIBC Eurasia Awards recognized outstanding breakthroughs in blockchain, gaming, media, and metaverse. The expert panel that awarded Sui the top blockchain prize includes industry heavyweights Pavel Matveev of Wirex and seed investor Giacomo Arcaro. Sui’s relationships and strong growth throughout 2023 have positioned it as a blockchain leader. This renowned honor firmly establishes its position as an industry leader.
