Square Enix and HyperPlay have announced that they would collaborate to create a web3 gaming platform. Square Enix has confirmed its investment in HyperPlay, which will be used to build its blockchain gaming shop and create its own NFT game, SYMBIOGENESIS.
The collaboration demonstrates that the company maintains up to date on innovations in blockchain, web3, and AI.
HyperPlay believes that not all developers worldwide are satisfied with the platform, which provides a plethora of games but only servers and development tools.
The founder of HyperPlay, JacobC.eth, stated that the funds will be used to support unique revenue methods that will benefit both developers and players.
HyperPlay wants to expand its platform over time by adding new shops, platforms, and entertainment offerings.
With Q2 2024 Prime Gaming integration coming up the following quarter, the company is focusing its products on Mac customers, allowing them to launch their priorities and take benefit of the app’s HyperPlay features.
