Shiba Inu incorporates advanced fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) technology. This step enhances the blockchain’s privacy and security standards.
According to Shytoshi Kusama, the driving force behind the initial SHIB token project, “We know that to deliver on our vision for a nation-state, we need to empower our Shibizens to operate with full confidence that their activity is both private and secure.”
Shiba Inu worked with Zama, an industry leader in Web3 encryption, to integrate FHE across all of its platforms. This encryption technique provides comprehensive on-chain data protection without sacrificing usability or functionality.
Integrating FHE powered by Zama’s $TREAT token allows for confidential transactions, safe smart contracts, and privately verifiable computations on the Shiba Inu blockchain.
Zama’s solutions have enabled those applications to focus on privacy while maintaining user interaction quality, which is a significant step considering that these two goals appear to be at odds.
As the wider cryptocurrency industry grapples with severe flaws, Shiba Inu’s adoption of FHE is a decisive step toward strengthening user protections and establishing itself as a privacy leader. This also allows the team to investigate creative applications at the nexus of security, functionality, and user experience.
Rand, the CEO of Zama, believes that “with the engagement of Shiba Inu, it will be possible to attract a new user base and thus introduce a wide range of new use cases on their platform.” The innovation will set a new standard for blockchain privacy and security.
