The American Court of the U.S. District Judge Edgardo Ramos has sentenced Irina Dilkinska, who gained notoriety for the OneCoin scam, to four years in prison. The former OneCoin CEO of Legal and Compliance, Dilkinska, acknowledged her involvement in both the conspiracy to commit wire fraud and the conspiracy to launder money.
Participating in OneCoin, a mainstay of the sector, was Dilkinska. Although it was her responsibility to make sure legal and compliance activities followed the laws and went without a hitch, she took part in the scheme herself. Rather than upholding the law, she helped launder $110 million from OneCoin proceedings to a Cayman Islands organization.
