An Ethereum wallet suspected to be owned by Tron creator Justin Sun made a number of purchases totaling 91,316 ETH, or $259.1 million. The wallet, with the ID 0x7a95, deposited 90 million USDT to Binance before making the purchases.
Initially, 10,136 ETH ($29.76 million) and 40 million USDT were removed from the exchange by the whale wallet. There is conjecture that Sun owns the wallet and is collecting Ethereum tokens due to the significant cryptocurrencycurrency transfers.
The 0x7a95 wallet’s owner has not been verified by Sun. Nonetheless, his participation would indicate increased interest in Ethereum as he is the founder of Tron, a network that is occasionally seen as an Ethereum rival. Sun was linked to a $500 million cryptocurrencycurrency transfer last week, which before the transactions.
In the past 30 days, the price of Ethereum has increased 17.65% to $2,916. In just one day, trading volume increased by 42.21% to reach nearly $21.5 billion. Significant cryptocurrencycurrency players like Sun and wider industry developments may have an impact on market activity. His intentions for acquiring Ethereum in such a big way are yet unknown.
