Nigerian blockchain payments and remittances firm Ivorypay has teamed with Tether, the issuer of the main stablecoin USDT.
Oluwatobi Ajayi, CEO of Ivorypay, lauded this cooperation as one that perfectly fit with their objective of making cryptocurrency transactions in Africa simple by adding he believed the customers would have more confidence and so use their solutions.
This agreement is planned to enable Tether to develop and distribute its USDT stablecoin directly on Ivorypay; therefore providing the required liquidity to facilitate reduced cost and stable digital transactions for Africans in business.
Accordingly, Aly Madhavji, Managing partner at investor Blockchain Founders Fund claimed that integration with USDT sets “a new standard for stability and efficiency” inside African financial services. He also stated his support for Ivorypay.
