Illuvium Labs has raised $12 million in a successful Series A funding round. The investment was led by Animoca Brands, King River Capital, Arrington Capital, and The Spartan Group. Notable investors include Arca, Polygon Ventures, 32-Bit Ventures, and Yield Guild Games also contributed to this round.
The funds are allocated for the second quarter of 2024, when three connected Illuvium games are scheduled for release. These games are Illuvium Arena, an open world adventure featuring monsters, Illuvium Overworld, a base-building game, and Illuvium Zero.
A significant token airdrop, estimated to be worth more than $25 million, has been alluded to by Illuvium Labs for its community. Players and investors alike should be highly involved and excited by this event. The Illuvium (ILV) token has performed remarkably well, hitting its highest price this month since 2022.
As a sign that investors are confident in Illuvium’s intentions, this funding positions the company for a successful launch into the blockchain gaming industry.
