Salm underlines the need of giving investors access to Ethereum via a spot Ethereum ETF, comparing it to spot Bitcoin ETFs.
Grayscale launched preparations for a spot Ethereum ETF in October, and the SEC is presently assessing their application. The SEC has delayed the deadline to assess Grayscale’s request, with the next one set for May 2024, in keeping with their typical protocols for spot Bitcoin ETF approvals.
