According to Token Unlocks data, Ethereum’s layer 2 scaling solution Arbitrum is expected to unlock more than $2 billion in ARB tokens on March 16, 2024.
This upcoming unlock will distribute over 1.1 billion ARB tokens, accounting for over 87% of the circulating supply, to the project’s crew, advisers, and investors. To date, over 1.5 billion tokens have been distributed, representing nearly 16% of the entire supply.
This event stands out as the most significant token release anticipated for this month. Along with Arbitrum, other projects such as dYdX, Aptos, and Immutable are launching important tokens.

Today, dYdX issued around $111 million in tokens. Aptos is planning to release roughly $234 million in tokens on March 13, while Immutable will release approximately $105 million on March 22.
Robinhood has recently integrated Arbitrum into its platform to give users with faster and more cost-effective transactions, leveraging its layer 2 technology.
According to CoinGecko data, ARB is currently trading at around $1.9, down nearly 3% over the last 24 hours. The token has a market capitalization of approximately $2.5 billion.
