On Monday, Pixels, a farming and social game built on the blockchain, introduced its PIXEL token. Based on data from CoinGecko, the token’s value increased by a noteworthy 22.7% following its introduction.
Based on the amount in circulation right now, PIXEL is trading for more than $0.56. With a $441 million market capitalization as a result, the token is now among the top 200 cryptocurrencycurrencies in terms of market value. Currently in circulation are about 771 million PIXEL tokens out of a total quantity of 5 billion. The valuation at full diluting entirely is more than $2.8 billion.
Head of the exchange PIXEL’s debut was made possible by Binance through its Launchpool platform. It gave users who were staking the FD/USD stablecoin or Binance Coin (BNB) 350 million PIXEL tokens. After the Launchpool event, Binance added PIXEL for trade. To encourage engagement even further, Pixels airdropped 20 million PIXEL tokens to RON token holders throughout the course of the weekend.
Reminiscent of farming simulator games, Pixels combines NFT-based land and critters with cryptocurrencycurrency token economics. With an emphasis on gaming, it was first created on the Polygon network before moving to the Ronin sidechain in the fall. Ronin’s daily active user count rose from 20,000 to 700,000 as a result of this change.
